Born out of a litter of 10 puppies (8 surviving) Murphy Brown got her name because she had something to say about everything. Not a dog that was inclined to barking – she ‘talked’. Murphy’s happy attitude made her a pleasure to show and as a result she finished her championship easily. She was a focused dachshund at Earthdog and acquired her title quickly. Murphy produced 2 litters. The first was with Ch. Karchaus’ Music Master out of which came Dual Ch. Amtekel’s Merry Melody JE, CGC, VC, ROMX. The second breeding was to Am. / Aust. Ch. Slamdunks Fast Break. That litter produced FC AMETEK's The Magi’s Gift. Murf had quite a number of field points when she was placed with Scott and Mary Jane. She now runs their home and hunts to her hearts content!
