12/09 - Guinness became A Delta Society Certified Therapy Dog
Way to go Melanie & Guinness!

Guinness at 3 months

It has been 10 years since a black and tan female dachshund has been born in our whelping box! Guinness knows she is special. She is smart (learned to use the dog door at 5 1/2 weeks of age) easy to train and willing to please, a great combination in a small package. Guinness is just over 18 lbs. Guinness completed her novice rally obedience title in Nov. of 07.
Guinness finished her championship in grand style! She earned a 4 pt. major on 9/26/08 and the following day at the Dachshund Club of Greater Buffalo she won a 5 pt. major to finish! Guinness is now owned by Melanie Simmons (or is Melanie owned by Guinness?) Well, they are working it out... meanwhile, Melanie has trained Guinness further in obedience and has completed the Rally Advanced title. They are now working on many other things!
