Kaylee was sold to Melanie Simmons as a pet. Melanie brought Kaylee to me at a show so that I could see her before she had her spayed. I was rather surprised at how this little dog was maturing. We decided to hold off on having her spayed. At her first show, the Dachshund Club of New Jersey specialty (2/08) Kaylee won Reserve Winners Bitch to a 5 point major. Kaylee is shows winning her first point with her mom handling.
